The Challenge

SheerID’s existing website had become overly convoluted and confusing to navigate. The site attempted to serve multiple audiences at once but lacked clear separation between two core journeys:

1. Shopper verification – individuals looking to confirm eligibility for exclusive offers.
2. Business solutions – enterprise clients and brands seeking to understand SheerID’s technology and value proposition.

By mixing these flows together, the old site created friction for both groups and weakened SheerID’s positioning in the market. The content structure also failed to clearly communicate SheerID’s product offerings, their industry-specific use cases, or the breadth of customers they already served.With fragmented messaging and inconsistent design patterns that didn’t reflect the company’s position as a category leader. Content-heavy pages made it difficult for potential customers to quickly understand SheerID’s value proposition, while the design lacked the scalability to support the company’s expanding library of case studies, resources, and product updates. Conversion paths were unclear, leading to missed opportunities in engaging prospective clients across different industries.

The Approach

We began by aligning with SheerID’s marketing and product teams to clearly define the primary goals of the redesign: modernize the brand’s digital presence, improve lead capture, and better tell the story of how SheerID empowers its customers. Through stakeholder workshops, competitor analysis, and audience journey mapping, we identified three key user groups to design for: enterprise decision-makers, marketing teams evaluating personalization solutions, and community members seeking clarity about SheerID’s verification process.The design system introduced a modular, flexible structure that could adapt to a variety of content types — from in-depth whitepapers to short customer success highlights. Visual storytelling played a central role: bold typography, a refreshed color palette, and modern iconography helped emphasize SheerID’s leadership and trustworthiness. We also streamlined the navigation, improved site search, and clarified calls-to-action to guide users toward demos, resources, and contact forms.
